Your Request is Simple

Make a Simple Request - Allow You to Pay for Coverage

Your Request is Simple

You can have maternity benefits if your employer will give you and your co-workers the opportunity to:

  • Learn about voluntary employee benefits
  • Enjoy expanded benefit options
  • Pay for the policies by payroll deduction

You employer must also agree to take money from your paycheck, forward your premium to the insurance carrier once a month, and:

  • Pat themselves on the back
  • Realize payroll tax savings

What Could Be Any Simpler?

Small employers qualify as long as there are at least three employees. Independent contractors, or 1099 employees count towards the total.

There are no minimum participation requirements. Even if none of your co-workers choose to participate, you can still apply for a policy.

No changes are needed. Supplemental Insurance is just that; it's designed to supplement core benefit offerings such as Major Medical Insurance, Retirement Plans, etc. No changes are needed to existing plans, and/or insurance broker relationships.

There are no direct costs to your employer. You will pay the premium through a convenient payroll deduction. Your employer has no monetary obligation other than to promptly forward your money to the insurance carrier, and notify the carrier of any payrll deduction changes.

Steps for Your Employer To Take

This is what is required of your employer:

  1. Speak with one of our agents to get comfortable and answer any questions
  2. Complete a one page form for the supplemental insurance
  3. Conduct a 5 minute conference call with insurance carrier to validate information
  4. Allow your co-workers the opportunity to learn about the programs and enroll if interested
  5. Document that every eligible employee was given the chance to participate
  6. Deduct money from your paycheck every pay period
  7. Forward the premium to the insurer once a month
  8. Notify the insurance carrier of any changes
